HAAA donates yearly subscriptions of, "Artists and Illustrators Magazine," to the Hershey Library
Center Stage
Members display their work for two months in acute care areas and family waiting rooms at the
Hats for Hope
HAAA has been painting hats and delivering meals for the resident patients at the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge since October 2013.
This central Pennsylvania facility is a, "home away from home," to patients undergoing active outpatient cancer treatment at local medical centers.
The hats are delivered along with a meal that is served to the patients and caregivers.
This event happens annually at the beginning of the year. Members are notified when the event is planned and are encouraged to volunteer. Donations of hand-painted hats, knitted hats, dinner food, and desserts are much appreciated.
Hershey Food Bank donation
Members donate non-perishable food items to the Hershey Food Bank on a yearly basis
Children’s Art Activities
Members participate in providing children's activity areas at local art fairs.
Donation of art by individual artists
Members private works of art for fund-raising auctions for various community organizations
Hershey Derry Township Historical Society
We are members of the Hershey Derry Township Historical Society. We regularly rent space for meetings and classes.
